DAY 2: MENDOZA

HD City Tour and Surroundings

This excursion will allows us to know Mendoza city, one of the most beautiful city of Argentina.
We will visit the old city, where Mendoza was born, and then we will stop in Alameda, the downtown, the Civic Center, General San Martin Park and see Cerro de la Gloria hill, Mundialista Stadium and Frank Romero Day amphitheater, which is the central stage of Vintage national festival.

In the afternoon, Sunset Horseback riding tour with regional asado

We start from Mendoza heading to Lulunta, just 20 minutes away from Mendoza City. On the way we will enjoy dazzling views and landscapes that introduce the warmth of the place and the courtesy of the hosts, who will lead us towards the hills, where we can observe the Mendoza river, the local fauna and flora, the wine regions of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu and also a panoramic view of the Andes Mountains.

When we return to the base we will have dinner: an exquisite “asado” joined by regional wines and non alcoholic drinks.

The activity is ideal for beginners because it is not very demanding. Minimum age: 14 years old.

DAY 3: MENDOZA

FD High Mountain

High mountain way consists of visiting, walking and enjoying mountain’s immensity, highlighting its landscape richness. Going along international route Nº 7, we will appreciate beautiful panoramas such as Potrerillos, Uspallata. Later on, we will arrive at Los Penitentes ski center and to Puente del Inca to admire its fabulous geological shape and enjoy its hot thermal waters (2720 m.a.s.l.).
Afterwards, we will stop at the “Mirador del Aconcagua” located in the international route and get from
there the best view of Aconcagua, colossus of America (6962 m.a.s.l.). Then we will continue up to Las Cuevas, last Argentinean town before the border with Chile. Return to Mendoza.

DAY 4: MENDOZA- SAN RAFAEL

Breakfast at hotel. Bus ticket from Mendoza to San Rafael in regular bus service. Upon arrival in San Rafael, transfer from Bus terminal to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 5: SAN RAFAEL

Adventure day at San Rafael

Scenarios are multiple and varied, and all of them are ideal to let imagination fly and start the adventure! We will be joined by professional guides for adventure activities, such as: catamarans, trekking (low difficulty), canopy, via ferrata climbing and rappelling (50 mts).

DAY 6: SAN RAFAEL

Atuel Canyon

The Atuel Canyon is the living presence of the origins of the world where the wind and the water carved out in the rock natural sculptures. This extensive geographical accident is older than the Andes, the main chain. The circuit starts passing the hill of the calves and the Nihuil town. 45 Km from consolidated road will accompany the tireless downstream river by the Atuel Canyon. Whimsical figures as the Wax Museum, The Hanging Gardens, the Monks, The Owl and other that invite you to stop and experience the landscape. After a winding hill we discover the immensity of the Big Valley Dam, the ideal spot for adventure activities and water sports (optional, on request)

Transfer OUT from Hotel to the Airport to take the return flight.
